Laowa 24mm Probe Macro

The Laowa 24mm Probe is a highly specialized macro lens with a long, narrow barrel and a small front element, letting it get right up close to tiny subjects or squeeze into spaces a conventional lens can't reach. It focuses from 2:1 macro magnification all the way to infinity, so the same lens can capture extreme close-up detail and normal wide-angle shots without switching optics.

Its unusual design is popular for creative inserts, product macro shots, and shots that appear to travel through small openings, and the narrow probe tip stays largely out of frame even when it's nearly touching the subject. Cine-mod versions add geared focus and aperture rings for smooth manual pulls on set.
